My name is Dustin Urban and I’m a candidate for State House District 63. As your State Representative, I will stay committed to making your voice heard while focusing on issues that are important to you and your family. Like most Coloradoans, I too want to play an active role in working towards achieving the best communities to raise our children, run our businesses, and forge a future filled with unlimited potential. To do this, I plan on bringing a fresh new perspective to the table coupled with integrity, ambition, and real solutions to problems facing our district so that we all can work towards building a Stronger United Colorado. If you share my vision, I urge you to connect with me and help make it happen! Together, we can make a difference and get some real work done!

As your State Representative, I will work with other community leaders, commissioners, and lawmakers to establish tax free zones for a period of time to incentivize companies to move into our district. In doing so, prospective companies will bring in Good Paying Jobs, Economic Stimulus, and Upgraded Infrastructure as well.
The deteriorating infrastructure within our district is in need of serious improvment. As your State Representative, I will work to make sure this issue is addressed, and will push for legislation that will get some real work done.
As your elected representative, I will concentrate efforts towards strengthening our education system so that students remain more than competitive for opportunities in the dynamic future ahead. To take action, I will initially focus on ways to reduce the current $900 million+ budget shortfall, and push for a buy down of of the negative factor over a period of years until complete elimination.
I feel that every man and woman should have the right to choose who they love and not be punished for it. It’s about time that Gay and Lesbian couples be able to make life long commitments to each other and receive the privileges and protections of legal marriage right here in Colorado.
It’s no mystery that in times of drought, water shortages escalate fast; especially in eastern Colorado. Let’s start working toward securing more water for Coloradoans and be proactive in fortifying this vital resource.
As your State Representative, I will focus on ways to make funding and other resources more easily accessible to serious folks wanting to start small businesses right here in our district.
